B.F.A Process

B.F.A. interviews and reviews are held Tuesday and Wednesday, 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., the week before finals week in the Art and Music Center. Registration information for the in-person reviews of artwork, will be posted in the AMC two weeks beforehand. Students are encouraged to apply second semester freshman year or later. Email freemdan@c178.net for more information.

The B.F.A. program (Bachelor of Fine Arts) is a 76-credit major which requires extra time in the studio and is a degree most often used to apply for the Master of Fine Arts.

See the requirements and options on the home page. Students are also required to exhibit their work in a culminating senior show in the Art Gallery during their final Spring semester. See the current Art Gallery schedule.

B.F.A.. acceptance requires a portfolio. Repeated application is allowed (and even encouraged). Note: Students interested in the B.A. in visual art, are not required to provide a portfolio of their work for acceptance into the major.
